For over 30 years, GLAAD has been at the forefront of cultural change, accelerating acceptance for the LGBTQ community. GLAAD works through entertainment, news, and digital media to share stories from the LGBTQ+ community that accelerate acceptance. 

 

Glsten

GLSEN believes that every student has the right to a safe, supportive, and LGBTQ+ inclusive K-12 education. They are a national network of educators, students, and local GLSEN Chapters working to create affirming learning environments for LGBTQ+ youth. 

 

Hetrick Martin Institute 

Hetrick-Martin Institute provides free year-round programs and services for LGTBQ+ youth and allies ages 13-24 at our permanent locations in New York City, and Newark, NJ. They also help organize and produce youth events throughout New York City and New Jersey.

Pride for Youth 

PFY is a service and an advocate for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer/questioning (LGBTQ+) young people through age 45. Their mission is to enhance the health and wellness of the LGBTQ+ community through education, supportive services and personal development in Nassau, Suffolk and Queens Counties.

Rachel Wright

Psychotherapist Rachel Wright (she/her) is recognized as one of the freshest voices on modern relationships and sex. She is an experienced speaker, group facilitator, educator, therapist, coach, and on-camera mental health and relationship expert. With a Master’s Degree in clinical psychology, Rachel has worked with thousands of couples all over the world, helping them scream less and screw more. She has brought her message to stages across the globe, was SHAPE Magazine’s Sex + Relationships Coach for Crush Your Goals, and is the co-host of the Bachelor-themed podcast, The Wright Reasons. @thewright_rachel

 

Luna Matatas

Luna Matatas is a Sex and Pleasure Educator with over 10 years of experience in sexual health and wellness internationally and locally. Her playful approach to sexuality draws on the creativity, confidence and communication skills we all need to fulfill our pleasure potentials.

She teaches people how to build a better relationship to their bodies, practice empathy with their partner’s insecurities and needs, and how to get curious about their erotic imagination. Luna’s classes are trauma and equity informed and include lots of pleasure topics, from anal play and feminine dominance to how to have a threesome. @lunamatatas

 

Erika Hart

A kinky, poly activist and sexuality educator with a Master’s of Education in Human Sexuality from Widener University, Ericka Hart has taught sexuality education for elementary aged youth to adults across New York City for over 10 years, including serving as a Peace Corps HIV/AIDs volunteer in Ethiopia from 2008-2010. Diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer in May 2014 at the age of 28, she realized that neither her identity as a queer black femme, nor her sex life as a survivor was featured prominently in her treatment. She decided to do something about it: going topless (and viral) in public, bearing her double mastectomy scars to help end the lack of black and brown LGBTQIA+ representation in breast cancer awareness. @iharterika

 

Auntie Jayda

Jayda, also known as the sex positive asian autie, is a queer, Thai-American sexual wellness educator committed to creating spaces for people of color to feel empowered in their exploration of sexuality and relationships. @jayda_kissed

 

Yana Tallon-Hicks

Yana Tallon-Hicks is a couples and relationships therapist and sexuality writer and educator living in Western Massachusetts. Her work centers around the belief that pleasure-positive and consent-based sex education can positively impact our lives and the world. Yana works with clients from all backgrounds and relationship styles, especially including LGBTQ+ couples and those in non-monogamous relationship structures. @the_vspot

 

Tristan Tanormino

Tristan Taormino is an award-winning author, columnist, sex educator, speaker, media maker, and podcast host. She is the author of eight books and editor or co-editor of 25 anthologies. Violet Cerutti

Violet is a trauma-trained, queer, polyamorous sex educator and pleasure coach. She holds a B.A in human sexuality studies and psychology and was trained as a sex educator while facilitating sex-positive, pleasure-driven workshops for middle and high schoolers. She now works with adults and budding sex educators, creating affirming and inclusive spaces for education. By merging her academic background and personal experience, she learned how to cultivate power through her sexuality. Chris Grant

The Queer Therapist is a UK-based online accredited therapy service dedicated to providing queer, gender and neurodiversity-affirming therapy both nationally and internationally. Nyx Melody

Nyx Melody is a queer and nonbinary, genderqueer, trans-femme New York State licensed psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, educator and consultant on anti-oppression, mental health, and LGBTQIPA2S+ issues. Nyx graduated from Point Park University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. They completed a dual masters degree from Columbia University Teachers’s College. Dulcinea Pitagora

Dulcinea offers affirming psychotherapy and sex therapy for individuals, couples, multiple-partner relationships, and poly and leather families. They are an expert in alternative sexualities, and specialize in working with adults in the kink, poly, trans, GNC/NB, LGBQ, and sex-work communities. They work with those who live openly and out; and those who have more conservative and private lifestyles. Their approach is holistic, person-centered, and collaborative. Koe Creation is truly a Sex Educator for the 21st century. Having grown up as a child of a sex-positive, polyamorous family, Koe uses their unique knowledge as a second-generation queerspawn to provide prospective parents and families a framework for successful cross-generational communication about their identities and relationship(s). Manhattan Alternative Therapy

A network of unaffiliated, independently practicing therapeutic service providers in New York City who are sex-positive, affirmative, and have expertise related to issues that kink, poly, consensually non-monogamous, trans, gender non-conforming, and/or LGBTQ+ individuals face.

 

The National Center for Transgender Equality 

The National Center for Transgender Equality advocates to change policies and society to increase understanding and acceptance of transgender people. In the nation’s capital and throughout the country, NCTE works to replace disrespect, discrimination, and violence with empathy, opportunity, and justice.

 

 The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender National Hotline 

The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) National Help Center, founded in 1996, is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization that provides vital peer-support, community connections and resource information to people with questions regarding sexual orientation and/or gender identity. Utilizing a diverse group of LGBT volunteers, we operate three national hotlines, the LGBT National Hotline, the LGBT National Youth Talkline, and the LGBT National Senior Hotline as well as private, volunteer one-to-one online chat, that helps both youth and adults with coming-out issues, safer-sex information, school bullying, family concerns, relationship problems and a lot more.

Founded by AASECT Certified Sex Therapist Casey Tanner, The Expansive Group is a collective of passionate relationship, gender & sexuality professionals.

 

National Queer Therapists of Color

NQTTCN was officially launched in May 2016, as a call to organize mental health practitioners to establish a network where therapists can deepen their analysis of healing justice and where QTPoC community can connect to care.

We’re Having Gay Sex- Ashley Gavin

After 10 years of serial monogamy, comedian Ashley Gavin trades in her u-haul for the whore phase she missed in her early 20’s. She documents every sexual detail in this podcast.

The queer dating scene is different than it was last decade, so she enlists the help of her youngest, queerest friends (lovingly referred to as “the youth in the sound booth” and “cancel coach”), equipped with a soundboard of gen-z sound effects, to keep Ashley from getting cancelled.
